Okay, Nevermind

So things have done a complete 180 in the last two days and everything is fine. Everything is more than fine, everything is almost perfect - as perfect as things can be when it is snowing like crazy outside. But it's okay, I love snow and I love Minnesota and I love everything. Except FUPAs. I will never love FUPAs. Gross.

Anyway, so Grandpa wanted me to get a new car when I graduated and guess what! I am! Well, we're still talking about it, but it's so cute and it is a 2005 Malibu and I love it and it is silver and it actually has under 30,000 miles on it which makes me happy. First I had the 1986 Nova, which I loved and got through high school. Then Grandpa got me the '93 Cavalier because the Nova would not survive the drives back and forth from MN to NE. I loved the Cav too, it was a great car. Then, two years ago I got the '98 Ford Contour. I know, I know, a Ford. I wasn't too keen on driving a Ford but Grandpa said he had to drive a Ford when he was younger and I would just have to suffer once and then I could go back to a Chevy. Well, Chevy makes the Malibu so I guess I am in luck. It's so cool, I love it, but it is definitely the biggest car I have ever driven, aside from Grandma and Grandpa's Buick Park Avenue. I learned to drive with their car though, and if you can drive a Park Avenue, you can drive anything. The Malibu is so cute, I just love it, so I am hoping that everything will work out and I will be able to bring it back to Lincoln after break.

Speaking of Lincoln, I will be there a little early, Taylor is on leave only for a few days so I want to see him before he heads back to Texas and Drake will be back a few days before classes start because he has to get new door decs up for the semester. That was my favorite part of living in the dorms, I liked door decs and usually they were pretty cool. Except my last RA, who took over for Shari, yeah those were not the greatest, we didn't get them until almost the end of the year, and she took over in January. It was lame.

Anyway, that's about it, we're having another graduation party for me today for those who couldn't come to Nebraska for the real thing. Then tomorrow is birthday shopping with Mom since I won't be home for my real birthday. Sunday is the Vikings/Bears game which I think I am going to, and hopefully Monday I get my new car!

All I have done over break has been watching Friends: The One With All Ten Seasons. It is glorious. I got to open it early because Mom said I could since I didn't speed for MOST of the way home except that last little stretch of insanely boring highway. I am on the last disc of season seven, and for this finale, Monica and Chandler are getting married. I love this show. Now I must go watch more, yay FRIENDS!

I'm glad things have done a 180 and that you're getting a new car! Rah yay! I'm sad you won't be here for New Year's, but I totally understand. I wouldn't come back either if I got to get a new car! I heart you!
